Japanese Gilt Bronze Okimono of a Boy, Meiji Period
Japanese gilt bronze okimono in Miyao style, Meiji Period (1868-1912). Well modelled as a young smiling boy beating a drum, hung around his neck. His kimono engraved with flowers, and tied with at his back, with a large bow. The details finely accentuated in gilt, and his skin in shakudo.
Set upon a hardwood base.
Unsigned.
