Japanese ‘Imari’ porcelain jardiniere, c. 1890, Meiji Period. The lightly fluted jardiniere hand painted in typical Imari colours, with shaped panels containing vases of flowers, and flowering plants, on a ground of dense, stylised flowering plants, above a continuous lappet band, in underglaze blue.
The inner rim similarly decorated.
