Japanese silver and enamel okimono, Meiji Period. The solid silver pheasants, with finely delineated plumage, their wings and tails, heightened in vibrant enamels. Having further enamel decoration to their faces, and eyes.
Both birds perched upon a gnarled wood stand, bearing a good patination.
