Kyoto ware enamelled vase, 19th Century, Meiji Period. The jar shaped vase, having three ring handles, and vibrantly decorated in enamels, with large flowering plants, heightened in gilt. The neck with a continuous gilt key fret motif, on a chocolate brown ground.
The foot rim with a band of karakusa scrollwork, on a brown ground.
Height – 27.5 cm, 10 7/8”.
Diameter – 20.5 cm, 8 1/8”.
Condition- Typical minor wear to the gilt. No damage. No restoration.
