Meissen porcelain bowl, c. 1735. Hand painted to one side, with a scene of figures in Turkish costume, standing before boats in a harbour. The reverse with figures in 18th Century costume, before a large Classical urn, on a river bank, before a fortified building, with a town in the background. All beneath a gilt bandelwerk border to the rim.
The interior gilded.

Underglaze blue crossed swords mark to the base.

Condition: Some typical wear to the gilding. No restoration.
