Meissen porcelain figure of Cupid, after an 18th Century model by Michel Victor Acier, c. 1870. Modelled as Cupid seated upon a tree stump, lifting a drape, to reveal a burning heart amongst flowers.
Set upon a triangular base, with an oval panel inscribed ‘Je decoure tout’.
Height – 12.7 cm, 5”.
Width – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
Depth – 6.5 cm, 2 1/2”.
Condition – Excellent condition.
