Meissen porcelain group of a couple, c. 1870.
Meissen porcelain figure group c. 1870. Finely modelled as a couple wearing 18th Century costume. The lady carries flowers in her apron, before putting them in a basket. The man with his right arm around the ladies shoulder, whilst he carries a cane in his left hand.
Set upon a grassy mound base, moulded with gilt rocaille scrollwork.
Underglaze blue crossed swords, and incised model number to the base.

Condition: Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
