Meissen porcelain figure group, c. 1880. Finely modelled as two children wearing 18th Century costume. The boy offers the girl pipe to play, whilst she seats next to a basket of grapes.
The figure is set upon a grassy mound oval base, edged with continuous band of gilded arches.
Crossed swords in underglaze blue, and incised model ‘No. 25’ to the base.

Width: 12.5 cm, 4 7/8”.
Depth: 9.5 cm, 3 3/4”.
Condition: Repair to the tip of the pipe. Otherwise excellent condition.
