Meissen porcelain figure group of dogs, c. 1870. Modelled after Kaendler, the group is finely modelled as two Bolognese Spaniels, and a pug dog, set upon a shaped grassy mound base, edged in moulded rocaille, heightened in gilt.
The dogs are beautifully painted in naturalistic colours.
Crossed swords mark, and incised model numbers to the base.
