Meissen Porcelain Group of Putti, circa 1740

Fine Meissen Porcelain group, circa 1740. Modelled as three Putti gathering flowers, and placing them in a large basket. The putti wearing loose fitting drapes, one of which is painted with indianische Blumen. Set upon a flower encrusted mound base, moulded with Rococo scroll, and heightened in gilt.
Impressed model number ‘268’ to the unglazed base.

Measures: Height – 13.5cm, 5 1/3”.
Width – 10.8 cm, 4 1/4”.
Depth – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.

Condition – Typical minor repairs to flowers. Otherwise perfect condition.
