Meissen porcelain Shepherdess, c. 1880. Finely modelled as a girl, wearing 18th Century costume, and carrying flowers in her apron. A lamb lays at her side, on a gilt rocaille moulded base.
Underglaze blue crossed swords mark, and incised model number to the underside.
Height – 26.3 cm, 10 3/8”.
Width – 10.5 cm, 4 1/8”.
Depth – 13 cm, 5 1/8”.
Condition – Typical minor chips to leaves. Otherwise excellent condition.
