Meissen porcelain trembleuse, c. 1740. The cup, finely hand painted with a large spray of flowers, and further sprigs. Having an elaborate scroll shaped handle, painted with a puce sprig of flowers. Edged in gilt.
The lobe moulded stand, painted within the gallery, with a spray of flowers.
Underglaze blue crossed swords marks to both pieces.
Height of cup – 7 cm, 2 7/8”.
Diameter of stand – 14 cm, 5 1/2”.
Condition – Very minor wear to the gilding. No damage. No restoration.
