An exceptionally fine Minton porcelain garniture, c. 1830. Each rococo style vase, painted with with exotic birds, within elaborate scroll borders, the reverse painted with buildings and figures above rivers, in rural settings.
The necks encrusted with a profusion of finely modelled flowers, painted in vibrant enamels. Having elaborate twin scroll handles to each vase, further encrusted with flowers.
Gilding and turquoise enamel is applied to accentuate the high points of the moulding.
Height of central vase – 30.6 cm, 12”.
Width – 18 cm, 7 1/8”.
Height of side vases – 27.5 cm, 10 7/8”.
Width – 16 cm, 6 1/4”.
Condition: Condition - Repair to one rim, and one foot. Typical minor chips to some flowers.
