Pair Blanc de Chine Dogs of Fo, China, c. 1700. Kangxi Period.

Pair of Chinese blanc de chine Dogs of Fo, Dehua, c. 1700. Kangxi Period. The well modelled dogs, seated on square bases, each holding a tassel in their mouths, whilst having a paw resting upon a ball. Having conical joss stick holders to the sides.
The underside of the bases, unglazed.

Width: 4 cm, 1 5/8”.

Depth: 5.3 cm, 2 1/8”.

Condition: Firing cracks to one paw. No restoration.
