Pair Chinese porcelain ‘Rouge de Fer’ rose water sprinklers, c. 1700. Kangxi Period.
Pair of Chinese porcelain rose water sprinklers, c. 1700, Kangxi Period. Made for the Islamic market, and painted in iron red and gilt, with continuous bands of flowering plants. Both sprinklers having a chevron collar, beneath further flowering plants to the neck.
The bases having glazed recesses, and deep, unglazed foot rims.
