Pair of Hirado porcelain candlesticks, Japan, c. 1890, Meiji Period. Modelled as two seated boys, wearing tunics. They both hold floral form candlesticks, emerging from leaves, coloured in blue glaze.
Height – 11.5 cm, 4 1/2”.
Width – 6.5 cm, 2 1/2”.
Depth – 9.5 cm, 3 3/4”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage.
