Pair of large Koransha porcelain, Imari vases, Japan, c. 1890. Meiji Period. Both vases finely painted with shaped panels of flowering plants, against a panelled ground of Phoenix, dragons, flowering plants, and textile motif. The flattened necks, with stylised gilt scroll, on a cobalt blue ground.
Painted Koransha mark in underglaze blue to the bases.
Medium: Porcelain.

Width: 17 cm, 6 5/8”.
Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
