Pair Staffordshire pottery cow groups, Thomas Parr factory, c. 1860. Finely modelled as a milk maid, and a shepherd, with their cows, standing on grassy mound bases, with streams running through.
The predominantly white figures, heightened in flesh tones, and gilt.
Single gilt lines to the bases.

Length – 22 cm, 8 5/8”.

Height – 21 cm, 8 1/4”.

Depth – 11.5 cm, 4 1/2”.

Condition – Small repair to ear of one cow. Typical minor wear to the overglaze enamel, and gilt.
