Pair of Staffordshire pottery figures, c. 1860. Well modelled as the famous Highwaymen, Dick Turpin, and Tom King, astride horses. Both figures brightly coloured in typical enamels, and set upon moulded oval bases, titled in raised capitals ‘D. TURPIN’ and ‘TOM KING’,in black enamel, above gilt lines.

Height – 26 cm, 10 1/4”.

Width – 18 cm, 7 1/8”.

Depth – 5 cm, 2”.

Condition – Small chip to the back of Kings hat. Typical very minor wear to the enamel. No restoration.
