A pair of Staffordshire pottery Dalmatians, c. 1850. The tall elegant seated Dalmatians, having separate front legs, and underglaze black spots. Having pink snouts, and wearing gilt collars, leads, and lockets.
Set upon oval underglaze cobalt blue bases, with single gilt lines.
Height – 19 cm, 7 1/2”.
Width – 10.5 cm, 4 1/8”.
Depth – 6.4 cm, 2 1/2”.
Condition – Repair to one snout, and one leg. Typical firing faults.
