Pair of Staffordshire pottery figures of Dalmatians, c. 1850.. The elegant, seated Dalmations hand painted with numerous black spots, in underglaze black, and wearing gilt collars and chains.
Set upon oval bases, painted in underglaze cobalt blue, and having a gilt ‘dash, dot, dash’ line to the fronts.
Height – 13 cm, 5 2/8”.
Width – 8.3 cm, 3 1/4”.
Depth – 5.5 cm, 2 1/8”.
Condition – Typical wear to the gilding. No damage. No restoration.
