Pair Staffordshire pottery Fox spill vases, c. 1860.

Pair of Staffordshire pottery spill vases, Thomas Parr factory, c. 1860. Well modelled as two foxes, stood before trees, holding their catches. Set upon grassy mound bases, above rock work, edged with a single gilt line.

 

Height: 22.3 cm, 8 3/4”

Width: 17.2 cm, 6 3/4”.

Depth: 7 cm, 2 3/4”.

Condition: Minor wear to the enamel. No damage. No restoration.
