Yorkshire pottery Prattware money box, c. 1830. Modelled as a cottage, with the two children at the upstairs windows, and an aperture in the roof to accept coins.
The gable ends having reliefs of a tree, and a Classical maiden sat beneath a tree.
Decorated in Pratt colours, beneath a pearlware glaze.
Height – 13.8 cm, 5”.
Width – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
Depth – 7.5 cm, 2 7/8”.
Condition – Minor glaze chip to gable end. No restoration.
