Ralph Wood pottery figure of a Putti, Staffordshire, c. 1780. The finely potted Putti, holding a basket of flowers, and wearing a garland in his hair. Supported by a flowering plant, and set upon a circular grassy mound base.
Decorated in typical Ralph Wood coloured glazes.
Impressed ‘60’ to the underside of the base.
Height – 11 cm, 4 3/8”.
Width – 4.3 cm, 1 3/4”.
Depth – 4 cm, 1 1/2”.
Condition – Some very minor chips to the garland – please see images for detail. Otherwise in excellent condition. No restoration.
