Rare pair of Staffordshire Foxes spill vases, c. 1850.

£590.00

A rare pair of Staffordshire pottery Foxes spil vases, c. 1850, Thomas Parr factory. The spill vases, well modelled as foxes stood before spill vases, standing over sheep.
Vibrantly painted in underglaze enamels, and having a single gilt line to the bases.

Height – 19.5 cm, 7 3/4”.
Width – 14 cm, 5 1/2”.

Condition – Tight, short hairline to the back of one spill vase, which in my opinion, is not aesthetically detrimental, even so, if required, I can have painted out. Please see images for detail.
Otherwise in excellent condition.
