Rare pair of Staffordshire recumbent Spaniels, c. 1850. The dogs modelled to lay down on the hearth, either side of a Victorian fireplace. Their fur well delineated, and heightened in gilt. Both dogs have yellow eyes, and wear gilt collars, lockets, and chains.
Length – 25 cm, 9 7/8”.
Height – 17 cm, 6 5/8”.
Depth – 12 cm, 4 3/4”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
