Royal Worcester ‘Butterfly’ Cup and Saucer, Dated 1880

A rare royal Worcester ‘Butterfly’ porcelain cup and saucer, dated 1880. The cup modelled with a large butterfly handle, beautifully hand painted in enamels, and gilt. Both the cup and saucer, hand painted with further butterflies, within a gilt dentil rim.
Puce printed factory marks, and date code for 1880.

Measures: Height of cup 5.3 cm, 2 1/8”.
Diameter of saucer 10.7 cm, 4 1/8”.

Condition: Perfect.
