Royal Worcester coffee can and saucer. Signed. Dated 1924.

Royal Worcester porcelain ‘Fruit’ coffee can and saucer, dated 1924. The can painted by Hilda Everett, with a study of peaches, grapes and a berry, on a mossy bank, and having a gilt interior.

The saucer, similarly painted by Harry Austin, with pears and berries, and having a gilt recess for the coffee can.

Puce printed factory marks, and date code for 1924, to both pieces, along with the retailers mark for H.G.Stephenson Ltd, Manchester.

Height of coffee can – 5.3 cm, 2 1/8”.

Diameter of saucer – 11.5 cm, 4 1/2”.

Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
