Royal Worcester porcelain ‘Jewelled’ cup and saucer, dated 1876. The conical shaped cup, hand painted with two panels of flowers, upon a light blue ground, and beneath a ‘jewelled’ gilt rim. The interior of the cup, having a gilt dentil rim.
The saucer similarly decorated.
Printed and impressed factory marks, and date code for 1876 to both bases.
Height of cup – 5.5 cm, 2 1/8”.
Diameter of saucer – 13.6 cm, 5 3/8”.
Medium: Porcelain
Condition: Some wear to the gilt dentil rim of the cup. No damage. No restoration.
