Rare Royal Worcester porcelain silver mounted scent bottle, c. 1890. The globular bottle, basket weave moulded, and having reserves hand painted with flowers, probably by Edward Raby.
Having a solid silver screw top cover, chased with flowers, by Black, Starr and Frost of New York, and presumably retailed at their Fifth Avenue store.
The silver marked ‘Black, Starr & Frost, STERLING’.
Traces of green Royal Worcester factory mark to the base.
Height – 10 cm.
Diameter – 8 cm.
Condition – Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
