Royal Worcester Porcelain Figure, Dated 1917

A very rare Royal Worcester porcelain figure, dated 1917. Modelled by William Pointon, as a seated First World War soldier, wearing a great coat with his gun resting between his legs. He is lighting a Lucifer for his cigarette. Painted in matte khaki and brown.
Printed puce factory mark and date code for 1917 to the base.

Measures: Height 14 cm, 5 1/2”.

Condition: Perfect. No restoration.
