Royal Worcester porcelain vase, painted by Kitty Blake, dated 1931. The gourd shaped vase, having twin gilt scroll handles. Hand painted with a study of blackcurrants, blossom and autumn leaves, by Kitty Blake. The reverse with a sprig of leaves.
Signed – K. Blake.
Puce printed factory mark, and date code for 1931 to the base.
Height – 8.5 cm, 3 3/8”.
Diameter – 9 cm, 3 1/2”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
The ‘halo’ visible in some of the images is a result of lighting.
