Satsuma pottery plate, Kinkozan, Japan,c, 1900. Meiji Period. The plate well painted and gilded, with figures on a promontory, looking towards temples, beneath Mount Fuji. All within an elaborate textile motif border.
Signed to the reverse within a red seal, beneath the Satsuma Mon.

Condition: Typical, very minor wear to the gilding. No restoration.
