Sevres porcelain ‘goblet litron’, c. 1770.

Sevres porcelain ‘grand litrone’, or coffee can, c. 1770. Finely hand painted to either side, with sprays of flowers, divided by two smaller sprays, beneath a gilt dentil rim. The footrim painted with a broad gilt rim.
Having an ear lobed handle, edged in gilt.

Height – 7 cm, 2 3/4”.

Width (Handle to rim) – 9.5 cm, 3 3/4”.

Condition – Very minor wear to the gilt rim. No damage. No restoration.
