A large French serves style porcelain oval dish, circa 1850. The moulded dish, finely painted to the center with a scene of soldiers and civilians relaxing in a military encampment, dyer a painting by Teniers. Within a heavily gilded cobalt blue border.
Interlaced ‘L’s in underglaze blue to the reverse.
Measures: Length 30.4 cm, 12”.
