Spode Caramanian series platter, ‘Part of the Harbour of Macri’, c. 1815. Printed in blue and white, with an oval scene of figures around the ruined harbour, now known as Fethiye in Turkey.
Having the usual border of hunting scenes, within a shaped rim.
Impressed ‘Spode, 22’ to the reverse.
Width – 27 cm, 10 5/8”.
Height – 20.5 cm, 8 1/8”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
