Spode porcelain coffee can, c. 1810. Painted in iron red enamels with stylised flowering plants, within shaped panels, on a cobalt blue ground, embellished with gilt floral scrollwork. The borders with a continuous Ruyi head motif.
Having a gilded ‘kink’ handle.

Iron red pattern number ‘715’ to the base.

Height: 6.2 cm, 2 1/2”.

Width: 6.5 cm, 2 5/8”.

Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
