Rare Staffordshire pottery horse spill vase, c. 1860. Well modelled as a saddled horse, recumbent upon a grassy mound base, before a wheatsheaf spill vase. Painted in typical underglaze, and overglaze enamels.
Height: 14 cm, 5 1/2”.
Width: 11.5 cm, 4 1/2”.
Depth: 6.3 cm, 2 1/2”.
Condition: Typical wear to overglaze enamels. No restoration.
