Large Staffordshire lustre jug, c. 1830. The bulbous bodied jug painted with stylised floral scroll, in pink lustre, on a lavender ground, below a continuous navette shaped motif to the rim, within pink lustre rims.
Having a large acanthus leaf moulded spout, and scroll shaped handle, edged in pink lustre.
Height – 17.7 cm, 7”.
Width – 21.5 cm, 8 1/2”.
Depth – 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.
Condition – Typical minor wear and firing faults to the glaze. No damage. No restoration.
