Staffordshire porcellaneous figure of an Eagle, probably J.&R. Lloyd of Shelton, c. 1840. The well modelled eagle, perched upon rocks, sprigged with grass. The plumage picked out in black enamel, and a gilt crown.
Set upon a canted pedestal base, edged in gilt.
Height – 21.3 cm, 8 3/8”.
Width – 11 cm, 4 1/4”.
Depth – 13 cm, 5 1/8”.
Condition – Some wear to the gilding. No damage. No restoration.
