Staffordshire pottery jug, c. 1860. Modelled as a begging Spaniel, hand painted with large red spots, with yellow eyes, and wearing a gilt collar and locket. The spout is formed as a tricots hat, moulded and enamelled with leaves and grapes.
The branch handle, with black lining.

Height – 27cm, 10 5/8”.

Width – 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.

Depth – 10 cm, 4”.

Condition – Typical minor wear to the enamels. No restoration.
