Staffordshire pottery dog whistle, c. 1830. The small whistle formed as the head of a hound, painted with black spots, and yellow eyes.
Having a gilt rim around the mouthpiece.
Length – 4.6 cm, 1 3/4”.
Height – 2 cm, 3/4”.
Depth – 2.5 cm, 1”.
Condition – Wear to gilding. No damage. No restoration.
