Staffordshire pottery elephant, ‘Jumbo’, c. 1860. The famous circus elephant, well modelled in the round, and naturistically coloured.
Set upon a shaped rectangular base, and having gilt lines to the base.
Length – 24.7 cm,9 3/4”
Height – 19.2 cm, 7 1/2”.
Depth – 11.3 cm, 4 1/2”
Condition – Some typical minor wear to the gilt.
