Staffordshire pottery group of Irish Setters, c. 1850. Modelled as a seated Irish Setter, sat above a recumbent Setter. Both dogs painted with liver red markings, and wearing gilt collars, with black leads.
Set upon an oval shaped base, having an aperture to receive a quill, and decorated in underglaze cobalt blue.
Height – 18.5 cm, 7 1/4”.
Width – 13.5 cm, 5 1/4”.
Depth – 6 cm, 2 3/8”.
Condition – Wear to the gilt collars. No damage. No restoration.
