Staffordshire pottery figure of a lion, ‘Canary Yellow’ glaze, c. 1800. The recumbent lion, with typically humanistic look about his face, and having a well moulded mane, entirely covered in a ‘canary yellow’ glaze.
Length – 8.2 cm, 3 1/4”.
Height – 6 cm, 2 3/8”.
Depth – 4.5 cm, 1 3/4”.
