Staffordshire pottery parrot, Thomas Parr factory, c. 1860. The large and well modelled parrot, perched upon a grassy mound base. It’s body brightly coloured in overglaze and underglaze enamels. Set upon a gilt lined, circular base.
Height: 24.5 cm, 9 5/8”.
Width: 10.5 cm, 4 1/8”.
Depth: 10.5cm, 4 2/8”.
Condition: Typical minor wear to the overglaze enamels, and crazing to the glaze.
