Staffordshire pottery figure of a Whippet, c. 1850. Finely modelled as a Whippet,full of movement,having an alert expression, and his paw raised.
Set upon an underglaze cobalt blue mound base.
Length – 11 cm, 4 3/8”.
Height – 11 cm, 4 3/8”.
Depth – 5.5 cm, 2 1/8”.
Condition – Wear to the gilding. No damage. No restoration.
