Staffordshire pottery figure of a lion, c. 1790. The recumbent lion, covered in Pratt type glazes, laid upon a yellow mound base. Set upon a green glazed stepped pedestal base.
Having a hollow base.
Length – 9 cm, 3 1/2”.
Height – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
Depth – 6 cm, 2 3/8”.
Condition – Tight and short hairline crack to the pedestal base. Otherwise in excellent condition. No restoration.
