Staffordshire pottery Lurcher, c. 1840. The well modelled recumbent hound, with its front legs crossed, set upon an oval mound base, with a single gilt line to the front.

Medium: Earthenware

Height: 8 cm, 3 1/8”.

Width: 13 cm, 5 1/8”.

Depth: 6.8 cm, 2 5/8”.

Condition: Small chip to base. No restoration.
