Fine Swansea porcelain plate, c. 1815. Probably painted at the Sims workshop in London by James Turner, with a central panel of roses. The broad border, with five groups of seven roses, within elaborate panels of gilded floral scroll, issuing from urns.
Impressed ‘SWANSEA’ mark to the reverse.
Diameter – 22.3 cm, 8 3/4”.
Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
